SOFTSELL SOFTWARE SETUP

SoftSell version 5.6.9 or greater is required.

Click "File - Main Options - Advanced Settings form"

88 = Set to "Yes" to enable card authorization for the workstation.

19 = Set to "Yes" to tell SoftSell to always prompt for card scan"

NOTE - if a card is on file, you do not have to scan.

NOTE - if #19 is set to "No" and there is card data on file, SoftSell will ask to use existing data or you may scan.

Click "Setup - Dial/Port Settings"

In the "ICVerify Server" section (lower right);

Select "Yes" only in the machine that has ICVerify Installed. In other network machines, set to “No.” This will automatically start ICVerify if it is not running on the machine where it is installed when a card is processed on the same machine.

In the "Computer Name" field, enter the NETWORK share name of the computer where ICVerify is installed on your network.

NOTE - In a multiuer system, it is recommended that you DO NOT use the SoftSell server as the ICVerify server. Use a different machine on the network. Your main POS terminal is the recommended ICVerify server.

In the "Dir Share Name" field, enter the NETWORK SHARE name of the directory that ICVerify uses to process data.

Click "Setup - License Information"

Verify that "Card Pros" (#13) says "Licensed" If not - contact SoftSell for licensing.. If you purchase ICVerify from SoftSell, there is no charge for the license. If not licensing fees are be required for SoftSell integration software.

Voids, unusual procedures and batch procedures should be done using ICVerify directly on the machine where it is installed.

ICVERIFY SETUP

ICVerify requires setup that includes information from your banking institution. Please contact your bank (card processing co) to setup ICVerify as we do not have your private banking information that is required to assist you.
